Male brawn, competition, and command-and-control built the Industrial Revolution; now it’s female thinking and collaboration that will build the Postindustrial Society.

Celebrate International Women's Day by joining a provocative and forward-thinking webinar on the 21st century imperative of women's leadership.  While the glass ceiling remains firmly in place, around the globe the pressure against it has markedly increased due to a rising generation of educated, experienced, ambitious women impatient to step into their potential.

Using DBP’s paper, The Emerging Female-Friendly 21st Century: A Gender Revolution is Under Way, co-authors Andrés Tapia, President of Diversity Best Practices, and Dr. Betty Spence, President of NAFE, will present their argument and then participate in a conversation with distinguished leaders from two companies with strong female leadership. Together they will explore:

    • What are the new opportunities offered women in the digital and knowledge age
    • Why female thinking is essential to competitiveness today
    • How companies can foster women's leadership by challenging the dicey dynamics at the intersection of women, power, and ambition
    • What gender revolution means for improving how women and men work together.
